Roof System

Smoker roof systems feature 26-gauge galvanized or R-panel steel roofs pitched 4/12 or steeper with integrated gutters and downspouts to shed water from fireboxes and cooking doors. Custom fabrications (Johnson, East Texas Smoker Co.) extend 12-14ft rearward, covering fold-down awnings and propane cages.

Vented roof peaks with 5-6″ adjustable stacks and rain caps maintain draft while preventing backdrafts. High-temp black coating resists creosote staining from 12-hour brisket smokes.
